Medaka, the colourful Japanese rice fish, are extremely easy to keep. They cope well with low oxygen levels and high temperatures (above 30°C). Hikari Medaka offers three types of food specially developed for them: Baby for young fish, Next for healthy growth and Breed to support reproduction.
Hikari Medaka No-Mai Breed
Hikari Medaka Breed is a premium floating food developed for breeding Japanese rice fish (Oryzias latipes).
Carefully selected ingredients provide a high-performance, protein-rich food that stimulates the natural breeding habits of medaka.
A water temperature between 24-28°C is required for breeding medaka.
Start feeding Hikari Medaka Breed when the water temperature is above 20°C, and ensure that the water temperature rises after feeding Medaka Breed to achieve results.
Feed twice a day as much as the fish will eat, removing any uneaten food.
