Guava leaves green

Guava leaves (Psidium guajava) are a healthy supplementary food for all invertebrates, such as shrimp, crabs and crabs and serve as a natural water conditioner.

The guava leaves have a slightly antibacterial effect and can thus have a positive effect on the aquarium water and affect the pH value only imperceptibly.

The valuable antioxidants, flavonoids, vitamins, minerals and humic acids make guava leaves an all-rounder in natural aquaristics.

Guava leaves are supportive and preventive in:

• bacterial infections
• fungal infections
• Should be effective against Vibrio bacteria, which are thought to be responsible for some shrimp diseases
• spawning fungus
• gill worms
• Parasite infestation
• Bite wounds

For faster sinking, the leaves can be briefly scalded with hot water before placing them in the aquarium.
