Efficient mechanical filtration combined with the convenience of ready-to-use filter media cartridges? This is possible with the new NEO 300 filter from Aquael. We have combined these features in one product.
Water purification in the NEO FILTER 300 is achieved by trapping dirt particles on the filter mat.
The maximum open filter capacity is 320 l/h, allowing you to effectively clean water in an aquarium with a volume of up to 100 litres.
Directional nozzles
An interesting solution is the use of two interchangeable directional nozzles in the set. The first is a classic jet nozzle, which comes with an aeration hose.
The filter has a practical mounting solution. The frame is attached with 4 suction cups. However, the basket with the filter module can be pushed out by pressing it. This makes the filter very easy to maintain – the motor remains in the water at all times.
The design of the NEO FILTER 300 also allows for slanted or even horizontal mounting. If the layout of your aquarium requires it, you can use this option to hide the filter more easily behind plants or other furnishings. The Neo filter is also inconspicuous due to its flat shape.p>
Capacity adjustment
The flow rate of water through the NEO FILTER 300 can be easily adjusted. The filter is equipped with a capacity regulator that allows you to adjust the flow rate to suit your needs.
Protection for shrimp and fish fry
The safety of aquarium inhabitants is our top priority. Therefore, we want to ensure that the internal filters are properly protected from small fish or shrimp that could get behind the housing, as they are most vulnerable due to their small size. For this reason, we recommend placing a thin layer of sponge on the front part of the filter. This provides an additional barrier to protect small animals and also provides a place for beneficial nitrifying bacteria to grow. A properly cut sponge is included in the set. Remember not to throw it away when replacing the ready-to-use filter cartridges, but rinse it in aquarium water.
