Soak the beetroot strips in hot water for about 20 minutes. Water to strips ratio 2:1. After swelling, allow the beetroot strips to cool and add to the remaining food. If necessary, the strips can be pureed for better palatability. 1 tbsp corresponds to about 5 g of beetroot strips. 5 g of dried strips correspond to about 30 g of swollen strips. The total daily ration depends on the weight and activity level of the dog: a total of 20-40 g of food (meat and vegetables) per kg of body weight per day. Recommended ration: puppies: approx. 80% meat and 20% vegetables (swollen) adult dogs: approx. 65% meat and 35% vegetables (swollen) senior dogs: approx. 50% meat and 50% vegetables (swollen)
