Traditional wooden nesting box

This traditional nesting box with a rustic look and copper roof offers the blue tit, crested tit, glossy tit, mat-headed tit and black tit a good place to nest and therefore helps to maintain or even increase the population of these bird species in a region. In winter, the birds often use the nest box as a shelter. Hang the nest box in a quiet and reasonably sheltered place. This means not directly in the sun or on the rainy side and with a clear flight path for the birds. The nest box should only be cleaned in the fall so as not to disturb the birds
