What is ZeoMAX Plus?

ZeoMAX Plus is a unique filter cartridge for chemical filtration of water in freshwater aquariums, paludariums, aquaterrariums and terrarium tanks. It is in the form of semolina made of carefully selected zeolite, which ensures a very high absorption capacity.

How does ZeoMAX Plus work?

The zeolite specially used for the production of ZeoMAX Plus has excellent sorption properties. As a result, it absorbs from water the toxic nitrogen compounds dissolved in it. It absorbs ammonia from the water and also binds and neutralizes the nitrite and nitrate ions dissolved in it. The filter insert protects fish from nitrous substances harmful to them and limits the scope and frequency of water exchange.

Where and when does ZeoMAX Plus work best?

ZeoMAX Plus proves excellent as a filter bed in canister filters, overflow filters and internal filters adapted to loose substances. It is recommended for all types of freshwater ornamental aquariums.

How to use ZeoMAX Plus?

ZeoMAX Plus is ready for immediate use and does not require rinsing or other preparation for use. The contents of the package are transferred to the filter basket or chamber. For best results, it is recommended that the ZeoMAX Plus insert be placed after the mechanical filtration cartridges and before the biological filtration cartridges.

How long does ZeoMAX Plus work?

The mode of action of the ZeoMAX Plus filter insert (sorption) causes it to gradually fill and wear out. To maintain optimal filtration characteristics, it is recommended that it be changed no less frequently than every 4 weeks.
